Devido a decisão do Secretário de Obras do Município de aumentar a jornada semanal dos garis de 36 para 40 horas semanais, o Sindicato em conjunto com os servidores entraram em greve na última segunda-feira (8), para exigirem a manutenção das 36 horas semanais e exigirem, também, o fornecimento de Equipamentos de Proteção Individual (EPI’s), o fornecimento de vale-transporte e melhor organização na distribuição de tarefas.
PRIMEIRO DIA DE GREVE:
Os garis, juntamente com o Sindicato, reuniram cerca de 300 pessoas na Praça do Cristo. O movimento desceu a Avenida do Comercio limpando o a rua com vassouras, pás e panos, surpreendendo os moradores com a inovação na maneira de protestar. A manifestação tinha o acompanhamento de carroças a frente, as quais eram colocados os lixos que estavam sendo recolhidos no ato de greve. A manifestação terminou na porta da Prefeitura, com os manifestantes deixando sacos de lixo das carroças no local.
SEGUNDO DIA DE GREVE:
Servidores fizeram manifestação na porta da Prefeitura, entre às 15 horas e às 17 horas, fazendo pressão no prefeito, que se retirou para realizar reunião em outro local.
CONQUISTAS:
A pressão feita pelos Servidores junto com o Sindicato, resultou na homologação do concurso feito pela Prefeitura em 2016, e a garantia de pagamento dos funcionários até o quinto dia útil.
GREVE CONTINUA: As conquistas obtidas pelo começo do Movimento ainda não tiram o foco principal: Redução da carga horária. Os garis e o Sindicato ainda visam além da redução da carga horária, fornecimento de EPI’s, Plano de Cargos e Salários, aumento de 5% referentes a Novembro de 2018, insalubridade e junta médica em um só local. O próximo ato será amanhã (11), às 15 horas em frente a Prefeitura.
